Cuisine holds diverse meanings for people worldwide. Atlanta, recognized as the gourmet capital, is a city synonymous with strong inclusivity. The essence of this project lies in sustainable design, driven by a commitment to respecting nature. Through a detailed analysis of the behavioral and psychological needs of various user groups, a compelling dialogue emerges, revealing the intriguing interplay between distinct needs and desires.

The genesis of the design concept stemmed from a simple dinner experience, where the act of twirling spaghetti with a fork sparked inspiration. Visualizing the three cores akin to the fork tines and envisioning their circulation as spaghetti noodles, I embarked on refining the idea through three circulation prototypes and subsequent evolutions.

-
The initial evolution involved unfolding the spiral into a linear structure, aligning the circulation to balance the forces on the stair structure.
-
The spiral, composed of 19 programs, was dissected into individual pieces, each representing a distinct program.
-
In the linear progression, notable large programs were strategically placed at each turn, creating a harmonious rhythm across the smaller programs.
-
Refinement included modifying the spatial layout of both large and smaller programs.
-
Further adjustments were made to program arrangements and spatial configurations, considering their functions and optimizing the user experience, acknowledging the psychological impact of different spaces on individuals.

In this design, the building serves the purpose of teaching and learning. The exploration of diverse spaces is paramount for accommodating various activities within the school. Different spaces exert unique psychological influences on individuals. While navigating through these spaces, the shifting visual perspectives contribute to a dynamic and enriching experience, aligning with the overarching goal of facilitating optimal learning environments
